Why did I choose IT as my course in college?
Why did i choose IT because the Information Technology manages the technology and computer infrastructure that drives an organization's business systems. And lot of people were saved by medical technolgy and information technology is important to help humans survive in situations that were a certain one way ride a century ago, or even a few decades ago. I won't get into examples, I will only mention that next big thing I am waiting for to see in the medical technology field is artificial eyes for those born blind, as well as full eye implants for those that were blinded by certain diseases or accidents. And most important we have the Internet, probably the most important part of the larger "information technology" crowd, together with the computers. I think that a computer is nothing without the humans programming or using it, and you'll get your answer, and all that comes with it the future, today. In the past, a set of encyclopedias or reading the newspaper kept you knowledgeable about the world around us. As access to timely information increasingly turns to online tools, having technology literacy is a basic requirement to living in the context of a civilized, social society. Access to information is a requirement to function in today's society. If there are gaps in achieving this technology literacy, then much like reading literacy, those gaps will be magnified as the technology gap widens
